Job Description:
Sage Oak Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant or Assistant Director for Maintenance to join our team in Lake Charles. This role will involve providing support and assistance in maintaining our community facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues.
- Assist in the upkeep of the building's interior and exterior, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and grounds maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Director and other team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of basic repair techniques and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
